Journey of the Breath
Taylor Somerville | SYMMETRY

You will experience the power of the breath to change your mental and physical state. This exploration breath session will put you through a host of techniques to ramp your nervous system up and down. You will experience sensations you never would imagine your breath could produce and in the end, you will leave in a CALM EUPHORIC STATE when you finish. You will also learn techniques you can use outside of the class to help you with the stresses of everyday life.

Footwork for a Firm Foundation | Rita Thompson
Feet form the foundation for all types of movement. Everyday habits and foot wear lead to and create foot pain. A Foot work practice is designed to assist with better alignment and to combat foot pain. A foot work practice can help to increase stability and balance while helping to improve mobility issues.

Delta Groove Kundalini Yoga

Budokon Yoga

Budokon Yoga is a style of yoga codified and popularized by martial arts and yoga master Cameron Shayne beginning in 2001. The foundation of this style is the Budokon Yoga Primary Series. This series consists of 7 intelligently assembled sections of slow and controlled movements designed to improve mobility, agility, flexibility and strength. The techniques are learned through repetition and precision, the emphasis being on the transitions from posture to posture, rather than the holding of postures. The purpose of this class is to gain muscular strength, cardiovascular stamina, as well as joint mobility and familiarize the student with the Series. For the Memphis Yoga Festival, portions of the Primary Series will be combined for a 45minute flow.

Ashtanga Vinyasa

Breath and movement - so simple! Not always easy, but always worth it. Ashtanga Vinyasa is an intelligent, systematic way of opening & strengthening the body one step at a time. We start in standing poses to integrate and strengthen the low back, hips and legs, then we move to seated poses that deepen the work in joint ranges and strength. Modifications and variations are offered to make this practice accessible for all. You’ll create heat and focus with the Sun Salutations, then move into standing & seated postures, backbends and inversions. We blend the floor postures for the students in the class and we may include postures from Primary, Intermediate or Advanced series in Ashtanga if we feel they will help the students that day. Ashtanga Vinyasa is Hatha yoga combined with tremendous strength development. It is the foundational practice that gave birth to modern Vinyasa yoga, so come practice and get back to your roots!

Sana Yoga + Pilates Fusion

SANA Yoga Pilates Fusion is a combination of our signature SANA yoga sequence and our fan favorite HIIT Pilates class. Will begin class with the traditional SANA Yoga warm up and flow sequence and then have a 30 minute full body Pilates workout that will make you burn and sweat. We will finish by closing the class with our traditional SANA floor sequence down on the mat. This class combines the best of both worlds to give you the best sweat, detox, stretch, burn, and workout that you've ever had! Prepare to feel invigorated, confident, and energized for the rest of the day after completing this class. All you will need is a mat, towel, water and some clothes you can move and sweat in.

Elemental Flow: Tantra Embodiment Journey

Forest Walk

Spending time in nature is often therapeutic and restorative.  On this walk we will explore the trails in Overton Park and participate in an interactive connect-to-nature activity to support the awakening of your senses.  Forest bathing can help reduce the static of your inner voice, allowing you to be present and invite healing interactions between humans and the natural world.

Yin Yoga + Sound

Yin + Sound: Join Kristin and Jessica as they provide participants with a special combination of gentle, restorative yin yoga poses and live sound healing instruments. You will experience harmonic vibrations conducted by the use of many sound healing instruments as you hold deep stretches throughout the body to relax deeper muscle tissues. Specific frequencies in which the instruments are tuned to help activate left and right brain synchronization promoting stress relief, deep relaxation, balancing and opening of the chakras.

Acro and Partner Yoga

Pick each other up and hold each other upside-down! No partner required. Acro and partner yoga is a playful way to connect more deeply to your practice, yourself, and your posture. This session will include fun ways to explore asanas, challenging our proprioception and selves, and laughter.

Sound Bath + Yoga Nidra

Experience a transformative journey of rest, rejuvenation, and recalibration guided by a trio of healing practitioners. Tori Anito, a Restorative Yoga Teacher, Sound Healer, and Vocal Alchemist, collaborates with Jatziry Greenfield, a Reiki Practitioner, Somatic and Ayurvedic Practitioner, and Sound Guide, and Anna Cardona, a bio-tuning and cymatic sound healer, and retreat facilitator. Together, bringing a collection of live instruments, ranging from Crystal Alchemy Sound Bowls, Gong, Sound Wave Wands, and chakra tuning forks; they weave a harmonious blend of restorative yoga, resonant sound healing, and holistic practices to create an immersive and blissful experience for all participants. This carefully curated event offers a sacred space where body, mind, and spirit can deeply rest, reset, and recalibrate.

CHAIR YOGA

Chair yoga is great for those with limited mobility and seniors. This class will improve flexibility, increase range of motion, reduce stress, challenge performance, and improve overall health while sitting in a chair. Soulful music, deep breathing, and slow movements, allows yogis to disconnect from the world and reconnect within.
